De Alba System-Modern Farang Mu Sul Founder, Grandmaster Michael De Alba is a life long student of the Martial Arts, with over 40 years of experience in the arts. His training includes a variety of systems, the majority being Korean systems such as Hwa Rang Do, Hap Ki Do, Do Hap Sul, Tae Kwon Do, Kuk Sul Won, Sun Moo Do & others. He has trained in Korea. While in the Military he taught various special units (i.e. Seals, Rangers; etc.). Grandmaster De Alba has trained with many great Masters from many diverse systems. He is considered one of the most innovative and knowledgeable instructors today. He is most well known and in demand for his Combative Knife Fighting and Grappling Seminars.
One of the main distinguishing aspects of Grandmaster De Alba and Modern Farang Mu Sul are their quite progressive approach to improvement of the art and the individual. Grandmaster De Alba is a published author and has appeared in numerous international Martial Arts magazines & news articles. He has produced a series of videotapes & training manuals exposing a number of specialized areas of Modern Farang Mu-Sul to the general public. The World Headquarters is located in San Francisco, CA, where Grandmaster De Alba and his family reside.
